A fantastic week had by players, parents and coaches of the P2P FA Orange Squad in Singapore. Good fun, good friends and good competition in tough, humid conditions.
The Orange Squad ended up making the quarter finals, bowing out 1-0 to a well coached Makati team from the Phillipines who ended up winning the U14 Cup by the same margin. Interestingly, this Makati team beat their Makati 2006 team 3-0 in the Semis. So close.
In short, four wins, one loss, 20 goals for, three against, top ranked of nine Australian teams, having accounted for NT and SA Regional TSP teams in the qualifiers.
